My name is Elisa. I don't know whether my skills are relevant. I am a linguist. I worked in human resources for a long time, so I know a lot about that. I hired/termed & dealt w/in-between issues. I did background research (sort of like "doxing" people, only with their permission). I trained, did benefit stuff. Licensed as a teacher, trained as an interpreter, grad school on and off. I taught ESL, Spanish, & bilingual/immersion. Interpret Spanish/English medical, "business" & some legal. I know some other languages, but I wouldn't interpret them as I wouldn't want to kill anyone.

HOLY BEANS! That's actually super helpful! I'm working on basic webdesign and SEO literature for the classes I'm teaching while walking down to DC. I'm looking to get them translated into Spanish, Portuguese, and probably french.

When I translate, since I am a native English speaker, I usually go into English (Spanish into English). Having said that, just because I've had to & because a lot of native speakers don't know how to translate, I have done a number of translations professionally into Spanish. I know a lot of people who translate. If you would like to forward an idea of vocab, structure, length, I could see if I know anyone. I wouldn't translate to French or Portuguese, but I know a lot of good translators.

Hacking messages is intentionally booby trapping propaganda. Cider war instead of cyber war. You can't say it with a straight face. Cider terriblism instead of cyber terrorism. You try to keep a straight face you'll have a seizure.

That is funny. I still say youafuckup instead of UEFA Cup. I don't follow European soccer, so I wouldn't remember it otherwise.
